David Waymer
VP of Business Operations
David Waymer is the VP of Business Operations for B.J. Waymer Associates, Inc., a results-focused firm specializing in national issue-driven community programming for sports, business, and philanthropy. David leads event production for the company and manages teams charged with identifying, vetting, and training diverse suppliers to compete for event production contracts. Each year, David utilizes his design skills to produce the Business Connect Resource Guide — a specially curated, market-specific resource for event production vendors sourcing sub-contractors to work premiere sports and entertainment events.
David designed and operationalized vetting and sourcing protocols for eight consecutive Super Bowls as a part of the Business Connect Program. In 2021, B.J. Waymer Associates, Inc. led the Business Connect program at Super Bowl LVI in Los Angeles and was subsequently hired to expand the LASEC Business Connect program to serve as the official supplier diversity program for each of the high-profile, globally recognized sporting events LASEC attracts to Los Angeles.
David came to Waymer Associates after consulting for the national nonprofit Common Threads. Waymer worked as a consultant for Common Threads for more than 5 years, managing the organization’s social media accounts and assisting the Development team in researching, selecting, and writing proposals to viable corporate and individual donors.
David began his career at Pro Sports Experience. The Chicago-based company organizes, staffs, and runs the youth football camps for NFL football teams. David developed his exceptional writing skills as the firm’s Marketing and Communications manager.
David graduated from Northwestern University in 2014 with a dual degree in International Studies and Psychology.
